Critiquing Opposing Expert Reports

Economatrix Research Associates, Inc. analyzes expert reports on damages that have been submitted in litigated matters. We carefully review opposing expert analyses and determine the reliability of the analysis and the opinions being put forward by the opposing expert. As part of this process we work with counsel to help them understand what the opposing expert’s opinions are really based on and how the expert reached the conclusions that were arrived at. As part of this process we help counsel effectively challenge through cross examination the unreliable and speculative aspects of the opposing expert’s analysis.

In instances in which the opposing analysis is unreliable or inconsistent with the facts as known by our client, we may prepare an alternative damages analysis and opinion.
